Donald Gene Wright, age 60, Russellville, Ala., passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Ala. The 2 p.m. funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel on Dec. 30, 2012, with Brother Phil officiating. Interment will be in King Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Lane, John Lane, Gene Lane, Jeff Wright, Austin Roland and Roger Chaney.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Donald Leon Wright, Donald Eugene Wright, John Curtis Wright; parents, James W. and Lillian Wright; siblings, Clara Nell Wright, Barbara Mitchell, Doris Garrett.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Wright; siblings, Katherine (Kenneth) Snow, Curtis (Ellen) Wright, Billy Wright, Harold (Marie) Wright, Elizabeth (Gary) Eddy, Sheila Garrett; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a Baptist by faith.
