Donald Everett McCool, age 47, of Florence passed away Friday, Sept 26, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 1:00-3:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Florence. The memorial service will be Monday, September 29, 3:00pm at First United Methodist Church, with Bro. Ted Vafeas officiating. He attended First United Methodist church of Florence, where he was an audio technician at the Bridge service and was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Donald was also a member of The Shags band. He loved bass fishing and was an avid Auburn football fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee McCool and sister, Angela McCool. Donald was a 1985 graduate of Huffman High School and a 1991 graduate of the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University, where he was a member of Kappa Psi fraternity.
