Donald Elmer “Donnie” Dingler, 63 of Joppa, Alabama died Wednesday September 7, 2016 at McGuffey Health Care in Etowah.
Mr. Dingler was born June 14, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Kenneth Elmer Dingler and Lottie Mae Strickland Dinger. He lived in the Joppa area most of his life and enjoyed hunting, movies and trains. He worked as a scrap metal hauler.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Dingler is survived by his brother: Kenneth Dingler; 9 half brothers; two sisters: Margie Helton and Joyce Schaefers; four half sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 10, 2016 at Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Arab heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
