Donald Edward Bates age 45 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Bates was born August 9, 1969 in Tupelo, Ms to Curtis Bates and Carolyn Smith Bates.
Graveside services will be December 21, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Copeland Cemetery with Mike Gordon officiating. There will be no visitation. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.
Survived by his wife, Susan Bates of Athens; one daughter, Amber Krutke; three sons, Nicholas Bates, Michael Bates and Jesse Bates; one brother, Dennis Bates; numerous other family and friends.
