Donald E. Daniel, age 60, born on October 9, 1965, peacefully passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Donald cherished his role as a father above all else, a devotion beautifully reflected in the lives of his two daughters, Rebecca and Sarah. His pride and joy extended to his beloved grandchildren—Lilly and Leelan Aaron, Everleigh Farley, and Landri Studdard—each of whom held a special place in his heart. Donald loved God and his family above anything else.
Known as the finest father, grandfather, and brick mason, Donald’s dedication was not limited to his craft but was most evident in the warmth and strength he brought to his family. His passion for Auburn Football and his spirited exclamation of “War Eagle” spoke to the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures.
Donald’s surviving family includes his daughters; Rebecca Aaron {Josh}, and Sarah Aaron {Preston}, siblings Linda Odom, Sue Snow and her husband Larry, Lisa Snow and her husband Barry, and David Daniel. They, along with his daughters and grandchildren, carry forward his memory, bound by the love and lessons he imparted.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Ann Hammonds Daniel and Elvis Roosevelt Daniel, his brother Nathan Ray Daniel, and his nephew Derick Snow.
