Donald “Duck” Clark Lentz – Obituary

Funeral for Donald “Duck” Clark Lentz, 65, of Danville will be Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Nicky Pressnell, Ray McWhorter and Ricky McWhorter officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Lentz, who died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at his residence, was born, Aug. 8, 1951, to Judson Barkley Lentz and Corrine Blaxton Lentz. He was an Elder of Fairfield Church of Christ, member of the Army National Guard and a cattle farmer. His father, Judson Barkley Lentz, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Lentz; two sons, Wesley (Tracy) Lentz and Patrick (Jennifer) Lentz; daughter, Amy (Tim) Tucker; mother, Corrine Blaxton Lentz; brother, Jimmy Lentz; three sisters, Joan Jones, Janet Woodall and Gwen Thompson; seven grandchildren, Barkley Tucker, Emma Tucker, Ellie Tucker, Karsi Lentz, Asher Lentz, Brittany Heflin and Joseph Hardison and one great-grandchild, Malikhai Orr.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Ned Jones, Sonny Woodall, Alan Thompson, David Woodall, DeWayne Woodall and Stanley Sivley.

Honary pallbearers will be Jimmy Lentz, Mark Clark, Mitchell Compton, Gurnie Grigsby, Allen Wade and Tracy Lentz.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Miranda Hutto and AlaCare Hospice.
