Donald “Don” McDougal 79, of Ardmore,TN died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Hospice Family Care, Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, August 30, 1939 in Madison Co., AL, he was the son of the late Elmer McDougal and Ruth Hunter McDougal.
Don enjoyed working on the farm and in the yard. He was in the National Guard for 23 years, worked for over 25 years at Ballistic Missile Defense and also attended Auburn University. He was a member of Community Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Camp McDougal, Ardmore; son Donovan C. McDougal, Ardmore; daughter, Courtney P. McDougal, State College, PA; granddaughters, Ariel E. McDougal, Ardmore and Wysteria R. McDougal, Ardmore; brothers, Jackie (Evelyn) McDougal, New Market and Dwaine McDougal, Hazel Green; sisters, Joan (E.D.) Britton Bentley, Hazel Green, Vickie (Ron) Smith, Hazel Green and Sonya McDougal Brown, Madison; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Steve Hargrove, Bro. Roger Britton and Bro. Tony Boyles officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL
