Dolan Elmer McMurry was born Nov. 29, 1928, and entered heaven on Nov. 21, 2013.
Visitation will be today from 10-11 a.m.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jeff Davis is officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Wetha Hall McMurry; and second wife, Martha Pinkard McMurry; sisters, Marcell Jones and Frances Saarinen; and brother, Barney McMurry.
Survivors include his son, Tim McMurry (Tina); and daughter, Katherine P. Wallace;
granddaughter, Jennifer Davis (Jeff); great-grandchildren, Kaden and Karleigh Davis;
and sisters, Doretha Clark (Bob), Vonnie Scarpetta, Peggy Smith, and Joyce Berg (Ted).
To know him was to love him, such a kind, gentle man who had no enemies.
He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of the
UAW.

Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
