Dirl “Jean” Pitts Garrison, 82, of Huntsville passed away Thursday.
Jean Garrison went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed away peacefully at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her love and dedication to her family was unsurpassed.
Her great example of love will always remain gently guiding her family. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who adored her for her wisdom and sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gladyn Garrison. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Dempsey West and her husband Larry K. West of Huntsville, and Katie Davies and her husband Bob Davies of Carmel Indiana and a son, Brett Alan Garrison and his wife, Opal Garrison of Huntsville, two grandsons, Eric Jeffrey and wife Stephanie , Ryan McKinney and his wife Stephanie. Jean had four great grandchildren, Terra and Parker Jeffrey, Kelsi and Alleyna McKinney.
The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 2nd at Spry Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Spry on Tuesday June 3 at 2:00p.m. with Pastor Don Kraft officiating. The burial will be at Charity Church on Charity Lane in Hazel Green Alabama.
