Mrs. Dicksie “Gaye Taft” Freeman, age 59 of Albertville, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Jimmy McCormick officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 10:00 am till the time of service, and burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband Dennis Swearengin; daughters Bonnie Freeman, Angel Swearengin, and Heather Brown; sons Austin Freeman (Amy Burks) and Christopher Taylor; grandchildren Kaylep Lee Casey, Addalynn Sky Barnett, and Sophie Nicole Roden; mother Gaynell Taft, and brother Aaron Taft. She was preceded in death by her father Harry Hughdon Taft; brother Harry Van Taft; and daughter Brittany Swearengin.
Pallbearers will include Austin Hancock, Wesley Garrett, John Tobin, Joey Cheshire, Tyler Gillian, Tim Freeman, Ricky Swearengin, and Ryan McCay.
