Funeral service for Diane Linderman Taylor, age 69, of Danville, will be Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Chris Martin and Bro. Jason McAbee officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Taylor, who died Tuesday, January 17, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born June 9, 1947, in Morgan County, to Louie Gordon Linderman, Jr. and Christine Stover Linderman.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Taylor and son Thomas Heath Taylor.
She is survived by two sons, Shannon Taylor (Courtney) and Shane Taylor both of Danville, two daughters, DeeAnna Pace of Danville and Kaye Akins (Jason) of Jasper, Stepfather, Reed Adcock, three brothers, Rondal Linderman (Sherry) of Hartselle, Dewayne Linderman (Vicki) of Danville and Mike Linderman (Charlene) of Scottsboro, one sister, Phyllis Matheny of Decatur, one stepsister, Rita Knuckle (James)of South Carolina and 6 grandchildren, Katlyn Taylor, D.J. and Anna Belle Pace, Gage and Kade Taylor, Sydney Atkins.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
