Dexter D. Taylor – Obituary

Dexter D. Taylor, 94, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Courtyards Nursing Home in Fulton. He was born March 15, 1922 to the late Ellis Taylor and the late Buelah Waddle Taylor. He was self-employed in the logging industry for many years. He was an Army Veteran of WWII.

Services will be 11:00 am on Monday June 20, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Bowen, Rev. James Terry, and Rev. Cody Kennedy. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery.

Survivors include his Son, Elvis “Bud” (Betty) Taylor of Ozark community, Daughters: Lois (Mike) Kennedy of Aberdeen, Mavis (Gene) Browning of Tishomingo, Cathy (Winford) Terry of Aberdeen, Dianne (Norman) Knight of Mantachie, Judy Hutcheson of Fulton, Nellie (Johnny) Franks of Mantachie, Nancy (Timmy) Archie of Fulton; 24 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, 11 Great, Great Grandchildren, 3 Brothers and 6 sisters, 2 Sister-in-Laws.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Alice Lorain Taylor, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, Granddaughter, Sheila Kennedy, Great-grandson, Adam Boren, Son-in-laws: Paul Hutcheson and John Boren

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Taylor, Michael Kennedy, Marty Kennedy, Winford Terry, Steve Terry, Gary Boren, Jeff Boren, Rodney Franks, and Chris Franks.
