Derrell Robert Passon, 61, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Monday.
He was preceded in death by parents, Martha and Roland Passon; brother, Dale Passon; grandparents, Oba D and Ada White; nephew, Justin Watkins; nieces, Vanessa and Amanda Bates; and brother-in-law, Jeff Miller.
Surviving are wife, Kathy Meeks Passon; brothers, Freddy (Melinda) Whitworth, Gene (Tina) Watkins, and Terry Roland Passon; sisters, Rhonda Kay (Mike) Bates, and Virginia (Ginny) Miller.
Derrell was a life long member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Owens Cross Roads, AL.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dewayne Martin, Chris Weaver officiating. Pallbearers will be Brady Bibby, Austin Hunter, Adam Hunter, Cord Davis, Scott Bibby, Coleten Hunter, and Charles White.
Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery.
