Dennis Lamar Parr, Sr., age 74, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on March 21, 2026.
Dennis was born on June 13, 1951, in Alabama to the late Olen Parr and Edna Pruitt Parr. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Dennis was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Gautney Parr; his children, Michael Parr, Dennis Parr (Charlie), Larry Atchley, and Thomas Parr; and his daughter, Kim Bradford. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mikayla (Dustin), Emma, Noah, Brandon, Georgia, Aubree, Skylar, Olen, and Dennis III.; his sisters, Connie Veitch of Attalla and Linda (Paul) Johnson of Attalla; along with a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Parr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Parr, Dennis Parr, Jr, Josh Dabbs, Matt Gautney, Jonathan Rohlfs, Mitchell Johnson, Warren Wingate, and Baily Wingate.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Mt. High Baptist Church with Jonathan Rohlfs, Jimmy Tolleson, and Roy Miller speaking. Burial will follow at Mt. High Cemetery.
