Delbert Holland, lifelong resident of Tuscumbia, died on September 18, 2018 at age 76 with family beside him.
Delbert is preceded in death by parents, George and Jewel Holland; brother (Eugene Holland) and sister (Lois Richardson). He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Gwen McBride, Harold Holland, Earl Holland, Dot Winsted, Ann Walker, and Wanda Malone. His loving wife of 58 years, Ardis (Dennie) Holland; daughter, Teresa Russell (Gary); son, Dale Holland (Tammy); daughter, Delisa Burden (Donny); daughter, Delina Stafford (Wes); 9 grandchildren, Ryann Murphy, Daniel Russell, Jacob Holland, Tamilee Holland, Chase Stafford, Darian Burden, Brett Stafford, Caleb Stafford, Cameron Stafford; 4 great-grandchildren, Ally, Riley, Hunter, and Landon; many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Isbell Chapel Baptist Church. Delbert retired from Orba Transhipment after 17 years and Holox Welding Supply until he retired. Delbert loved his family, restoring his 1956 Bel Air (Darlin7), music, fishing, competing with and training racking horses, and traveling to many places including The Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls. He was a problem-solver and often took on difficult projects at work and at home. He devoted much of his time to helping his children. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on September 21, 2018 at Isbell Chapel Baptist Church. Pastor Truman Kimbrough will officiate.
