Logo Icon  Dee Wendell Terry, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at the age of 87.

He was a loving father of two and a devoted, wonderful husband to Lorene Jacobs Terry, with whom he shared 69 years of marriage prior to her passing in January. He was an active member of Berea Baptist Church and Moulton Baptist Church for many years, where he found joy in worship, fellowship, and service. He loved life and will be remembered for his caring heart, steady faith, and the love he poured into his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Jacobs Terry; parents, Chelcie Mae and William Orville Terry; and his sister, Betty Ruth Terry Oliver.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Bradby Mefford; his son, Tracy Reynolds (Sherry); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service to celebrate his life which will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Midway Memorial Gardens, with Brother Jesse Reeder officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Huntsville Hospital Foundation / Family Hospice Division.
