Deborah Lynne Wright, a resident at Piedmont Nursing Home, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 70 after battling cancer.
Born January 16, 1955 in Bradford, PA, she was our special sister. Debbie was our prayer warrior. When we were younger if we had a prayer request we would call her. She would write it on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope that was attached to a tapestry of Jesus. Then she would say “Jesus has it”.
She is survived by her sisters, Lorraine (Dale) Guyer and Colleen (Mike) Thorne. Nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen Wright, Jason Guyer, Erin Hamilton, Amy Lowe, Heather Romanski, Stephanie Bissonette, Amanda Lathrop, Cody Thorne and Kaitlyn Thorne; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Miriam Wright; and siblings, Michael Lee Wright and Laurie Ann Chester.
She moved to Alabama from Erie, PA in 2015 with her mother and was a resident of Jacksonville before settling at Piedmont Nursing Home in Piedmont, AL.
Debbie loved dolls, Disney movies, family, singing, cats, Dr. Pepper, chocolate milkshakes, pomeranians, country music, country artists and gospel music.
We would like to express our heartfelt thank you for the support of our families, church families and the caring staff and nurses at Piedmont Nursing Home.
Deborah Lynne Wright
