Mrs. Deborah Joe Wise, 63 of Sumiton, passed away at a local hospital on March 1, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, March 7, 2025, at New Horizon Chapel, with burial to follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Avon and Mary Nell Thompson, son Randall Wise, and brother Mike Thompson.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years Randy Wise, son Danny Gardner, niece/daughter Kaitlyn (Spencer) Harris, brother Larry (Debra) Thompson granddaughter Autumn (Jeremy) Cummings, great-granddaughters Paisleigh Harris and Lily Cummings along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Deborah and her mother owned Mary & Deb Assisted Living for over 20 years. She was the Matriarch of the family She would help anyone in need, she loved her family and her roses. She was also the best maw maw, wife and friend anyone could have. She will be missed by all who knew her.
