Deborah Geller Mason, 73, of Gurley, AL passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Debbie was a retired teacher who loved teaching. After retirement, Debbie volunteered in one of the local schools. She was very creative and made homemade cards for her Sunday School Class. She sent cards for birthdays and other occasions, i.e., new members and visitors. She was a Stephen Minister with her church and loved helping other people. She was instrumental in writing a cookbook with her teacher organization.
Survivors include husband, Albert A. Mason Jr.; brother, Curt Geller (Janet); sisters-in-law; Kathleen Reginell (Mike), Elizabeth M. Carman, and Nancy Ragusa; brother-in-law, Terry Mason; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. Alan Greer officiating.
