Deborah Early Miles, age 75, of Empire, Alabama, passed away at her residence on August 18, 2026.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Dale Miles; son, Daniel Shane Chaney (Brandy); daughter, Rachel Myers (Brandon) and son Greg Miles; grandchildren, Hunter Chaney, Grayson Chaney, Brooks Chaney, Ashlyn Myers, Griffin Myers, and Addi Mae Myers; brother, Gary Early; sister, Brenda Bishop; and lifelong friends, Buddy and Nelda Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Graton and Esther Early; children, Craig and Alana Chaney; brothers, B.C. Early and J.L. Early; and sisters, Becky Markle, Dean Ballenger, and Betty Jean Johnson.
Deborah was a very Godly who loved Jesus and her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She spent part of her early life in Chicago. She enjoyed her work as a nurse. She enjoyed traveling, visiting the mountains, Alabama football, and the Atlanta Braves. She never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home, Sumiton Chapel Officiating will be Brother Jarett Smith . Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rices chapel Cemetery.
