Dean Alan Hunkapiller, 48 of Guntersville, Alabama died Thursday September 8, 2016 in the Philippines.
Mr. Hunkapiller was born February 15, 1968 in Anniston, Alabama to Beaul Dean Hunkapiller and Nel Carr Hunkapiller. He was a 1986 graduate of Arab High School.
Mr. Hunkapiller was a member of Arab First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Nel Carr Brock, Beaul D. Hunkapiller and Colleen; his daughters mother, Remy de Guzman Hunkapiller; his daughter Katrina Dean Hunkapiller; sister and brother-in-law, Carla Hunkapiller Highfield and Jeff; nieces and nephews: Mary Elizabeth Highfield LeCroy and Jonathan, Michael Highfield, Charlie Highfield, Jessica Highfield, Lindsay Highfield, Hallie Highfield and Hunter Highfield.
Memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday September 17, 2016 at Arab First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve West, officiating.
Visitation with the family will be 10:00 – 12:00 Saturday September 17 at Arab First United Methodist Church.
