Deadline for Grant Applications To The Alabama Department Of Child Abuse And Neglect Prevention

An important deadline is fast approaching for grant applications to the Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention 

child abuseMONTOGMERY- The Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention-The Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) of Alabama is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP document will be posted on the Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention website at http://ctf.alabama.gov along with the grant application on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Funds will be awarded to eligible entities through a competitive grant application process for organizations seeking to establish prevention programs in their respective areas.

 

The posted documents will provide all regulatory requirements and a timeline of related expectations. Interested participants are encouraged to attend a RFP Training in Montgomery on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Gordon Persons Building, 50 North Ripley Street. The training will take place in the Plaza Level Auditorium at Gordon Persons. Parking is available at Cramton Bowl. The training will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. Lunch will not be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of the RFP for the training.

Grant applications must be received IN THE ADCANP OFFICE by 5:00 p.m. CST on Friday, May 16, 2014.  Do not fax or submit applications electronically. There are no exceptions to this deadline. Applications may be delivered in person or by mail.
