CHESTER COUNTY, TN-Day four in the search for two-year-old Noah Chamberlin from Pinson continues. Noah went missing on Thursday, January 14 after taking a walk in the woods with is sister and grandmother.
On Monday morning, January 18, the Chester County Sheriff’s Office held a news conference to give an update on the search. Sheriff Blair Weaver said the mission is still considered a search and rescue, The Sheriff believes Noah will be found alive.
The sheriff would not comment on clues that might have been recovered in the search for Noah. He would say that the family has been and continues to cooperate with the search and that no criminal investigation is under way and Child Services has not been called in.
The search continued throughout the night and is under way today even though temps are some of the coldest this winter. The search continues with law enforcement through the area from Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi as well as volunteers from several states. The goal is to bring Noah home safe. The search includes local law enforcement and TBI with search dogs. Authorities are asking for donations of warm clothing, batteries and bottled water for the searchers.
