David William Gover, Sr., 67, of Toney, Alabama passed away at his home on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Mr. Gover was a resident of the Toney area for over 10 years where he was a member of Friendship Stateline Freewill Baptist Church. In his free time David enjoyed taking care of his horse as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Gover is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Gover, Sr. and Margaret Heine Gover, two brothers, Raymond Jr. and Bryan, as well as one sister, Barbara Ann.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Mary Ann Gover, one son, David Gover, Jr., one daughter, Tiffany Gover, one brother, Kenneth Gover, eight grandchildren: Audra, Hank, Makayla, Dominic, Michael, Anna, Preston, and Curstin, three great grandchildren, special friend, Martha Thomas, as well as several cousins.
There will be visitation held for Mr. Gover at Friendship Stateline Freewill Baptist Church on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 11:00am until 12:00 noon. A Chapel Service is scheduled immediately after visitation with service time beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Golightly Cemetery. Bro. Glyn Pool and Bro. Rusty Lincoln will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
