David Monroe Davis, age 60, passed away March 29, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2017, from 1-3 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Greg Corbel officiating. Burial will be at Huff and Davis Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
David was a member of Laborer Local No. 366.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Davis; parents, Montgomery and Louise Davis; and sister, Christine Hatton.
Survivors include his children, David (Andrea) Davis, Angela (John) Inman, Carolyn (Brian) Davis, and Jessica Davis; brothers, O’Neil (Cathy) Davis and Frankie (Star) Davis; sisters, Kathy Hatton, Kathryn (Jimmy) Triplett, and Inez (Raymond) Nichols; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
