Betty H. Beckham – Obituary

Graveside services for Betty H. Beckham will be held at Greenview Cemetery on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Reverend James Storie officiating.

Mrs. Beckham was a resident of Brooksville, Florida and was a former resident of Bessemer, Alabama and Tampa, Florida. She was a member of First Christian Church in Tampa where she served as an elder. She was an active member of the Business and Professional Women’s organization in Tampa having served as president. She was a legal secretary in Tampa for many years, and after her retirement she moved to Glen Lakes. She was a member of the singles club at Glen Lakes and enjoyed playing golf there.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas G. and Ruth Richardson Hall; husbands, Wyman E. Newberg and Ross A. Beckham Jr.; her sons, Terry, David, and Craig Newberg; and brother-in-law, Eric F. Plunk.

She is survived by her sister, Tommie H. Plunk, of Florence,Alabama; seven grandchildren;

eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
