David Millard Edwards, 64, of Gurley, passed away Tuesday, August 21. Mr. Edwards was born in Portsmith, VA on September 15, 1953. Mr. Edwards retired as Director of Training with Wesfam. He is survived by his wife, Carlita Edwards, children, Lauren Edwards, Tyler Edwards (Krista), Michelle Edwards, Michael Edwards (Jenny), and Daniel Edwards (Sherry). Mr. Edwards is also survived by his parents, Eddie and Patsy Edwards, his siblings, Teri Walters (Dan), Patrick Edwards (Laura), Sharon Cottrell (Scott), Michael Edwards (Nilsa), and nine grandchildren. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Edwards.
The family will receive friends, Sat. Aug. 25, 2018, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Killingsworth Cove Volunteer Fire Department.
