David Howard Blaylock was born on Nov. 16, 1955, and passed away on July 11, 2013, at the age of 57. He graduated from Barry High School in 1974. He was a designer/drafter at Southern Services and BEK from 1974 through 1992, and he had resided in Muscle Shoals since 1992.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Blaylock. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Suzanne Blaylock; mother, Dorothy Blaylock; brother, Ricky Blaylock; sisters, Kay Hardy (Wayne) and JoLynn Blaylock; nephews, Nicholas and Joshua Hardy; and a niece, Heather Blaylock.
Services were held Monday, July 15, 2013, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel and were officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Legg. Burial followed at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
