David Glen Heupel, 66, of Florence, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, April 28, 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Mr. Heupel was a member of the Church of Christ. He was employed as a salesman at University Chrysler, formerly Thornton Chrysler for 20 years and former owner of Dave’s Cedar Cabin Restaurant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Gertie Heupel, and brothers, Jerry Heupel and Troy Heupel . Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Shirley Haddock Heupel, Son: Shannon Heupel (Lynn) Daughter: Suzanne Cruser (Kevin) Sisters: Janie Simpson (Gary), Martha Hovater, and Doris Kershaw (Kenny) Brother, Alan Heupel Grandchildren: Carley Mortland, Cassie Heupel, Michael Heupel, and Jonathan Cruser. Great-grandchild: Rylee Mortland Several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Pallbearers will be Bobby Olive, David Mitchell, Mark Simpson, Danny Simpson, Johnny Simpson, and Ralph Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Darryl Mitchell and Jimmy Mitchell
