Darline Ann Jordan – Obituary

Mrs. Darline Ann Jordan of Middleton departed this life at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 15 days Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her home.

She was born in San Diego, California September 8, 1942 to Doris E. Dunkelberger of Loveland, Colorado and the late Harris B. Dunkelberger, and was united in marriage on September 2, 1962 to Mr. Russell B. Jordan, who survives. She served her country in the Women’s Army Corps as a practical nurse, was co-owner with her husband of Clean Team Services and was a wife, mother and homemaker. After moving to Hardeman County, she became a member of the Pocahontas Baptist Church where she was the WMU Director and taught girls’ Bible classes and Discipleship Training classes. She was also involved in Voice of the Martyrs as an area coordinator alongside her husband. She enjoyed sewing and baking bread and, above all, loved the Lord.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Jordan is survived by two daughters, Kayle Jensen (Gary) of Laramie, Wyoming and Kim Moore (Guy) of Middleton; a son, Shane Jordan (Donna) of Millington; two sisters, Mae Huffman (Dave) of Tabernash, Colorado and Shannon Kaye of Loveland, Colorado; two brothers, Harris Dunkelberger (Sandy) of Washington State and Mark Dunkelberger (Linda) of Bend, Oregon; two aunts, Phyllis of San Diego, California and Virgie of New York; eleven grandchildren, Jacquelynn Blackletter (Adam), Shauna, Cassady and Haley Jordan, Jeannine, Jessica and Jeremiah (Amanda) Jensen, Felicia Coleman (Walter), Savannah Moore, Tabitha Moore and Melissa Moore; six great-grandchildren with one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
