Chessie H. Byram – Obituary

chessieMrs. Chessie H. Byram was born on June 15, 1925, in Savannah, Tennessee the daughter of the late Charles F. and Chester Barry Sandlin Hamilton. On August 18, 1945, she was united in marriage to Hoover D. Byram who preceded her in death on May 11, 2001.
She was a homemaker and a member of East End United Methodist Church of Savannah, Tennessee.

Mrs. Byram departed this life on July 22, 2013, at Hardin Medical Center, at the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 7 days.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Maxwell of Middleton, Tennessee, Jenny Campbell and Julie Neill of Savannah, Tennessee, and one son, Phillip Byram of Savannah, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Byram Maxwell, Adam Maxwell, Christi Byram Stevens, Stacy Maria Coy, Sherry Lynn Crowder, Sara Holcomb and Shelton Neill; six great-grandchildren, T. J. Crowder, Xavier Crowder, Jamieon Crowder, Anna Bella Coy, Emily Coy and Ava Jane Stevens.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Grady Hamilton and Robert Lewis Hamilton and one sister, Ella Sue Thompson.
