Darlene Bartlett Gay, age 90, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, October 23rd, 2026, at her residence.
Mrs. Gay was born March 14th, 1936, in Roswell, New Mexico, to the late Archie Willie and Lennie Aubrey Bartlett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Gay, a son, Jackie Allen Gay, one sister, Geneva Mathews, five brothers, Johnny Dale Bartlett, Kenneth Archie Bartlett, Ronny Dean Bartlett, Danny Joe Bartlett, and Archie Bartlett.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Walker, sons, Archie Dwayne Mathews, Stephen Michael Parks, Ricky Vernon Parks, sister, Regina Inez Hoskins, sister in law, Melinda Gay, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 27th, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Lone Oak Cemetery with burial to follow.
