Dara Dae Tinnel, age 38 of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Sewanee on August 28, 1986. She had previously been employed at Tepro and Baxter. Dara enjoyed hiking and swimming, as well as painting and drawing. Her beautiful soul, along with her loving and kind nature, was evident to all who knew her. She cherished the time spent with her beloved family, and simply adored her kids. Dara knew the Lord and had been attending church in Manchester. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Hill; and grandparents, William and Elaine Tinnel. Dara is survived by her loving mother, Rose Tinnel; children, Jimmy Reed and Joel Reed; aunt, Lisa Stephens; uncles, Tim (Melissa) Tinnel, and William Tinnel Jr; and cousins, Zachary Tinnel, Austin Tinnel, Abby Tinnel, Christian (Sabrina) Tinnel, Tyler Tinnel, Timothy Sliger, and Chanie Tinnel. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.
