Funeral service for Danny William Boxx, 71, of Decatur will be Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Sharon, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tansil Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Shelton Funeral Home, Decatur.
Mr. Boxx died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at his residence. He was born Oct. 9, 1945, in Sharon, Tennessee, to Ben Boxx and Lula Morgan Boxx. He was a Freemason of the Lunar Lodge and also a member of the Cahaba Shrine.
He is survived by one son, Danny W. Boxx II of Madison; two daughters, Sharleen Morgan of Sidonia, Tennessee and Marlene Briles of Madison and his fiancee’, Shirley Lemmons of Somerville; four grandchildren, Zac Morgan, Amanda Boxx, Keith Briles and Layla Briles; also several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
