Funeral service for Danny Thomas Pitt, 61, of Langtown will be Sunday, February 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home.
Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Pitt died Thursday, February 6, 2014. He was born January 15, 1953, to Airl T. “Bud” and Ruth Moultrie Pitt in Lawrence County. Mr. Pitt was retired from the Lawrence County Road Department. He enjoyed getting out and riding (around the loop). Friends will miss him at the shop.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Sawyer Pitt; two children, Lynn Terry and Scott “Toe” Pitt, both of Moulton; his parents; five brothers, Johnny Pitt, Andy Pitt, Tony Pitt, Tim Pitt and Chris Pitt, all of Moulton; five sisters, Jewell Ann Newsom, Jeanette Wenzel, Jerrie Nell Terry, Robin Woodruff and Charlotte LouAllen Terry, all of Moulton; and five grand- children, Danielle Pitt, CarlyRose Terry, Tyler, Tara and Taylor Pitt.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Murphree, Don Fleming, Bart Fleming and Joy Lee Terry.
