He is survived by her his children, Desirae (Joshua) Smick of Chillicothe, IL. and Nathan Hood of Haleyville, AL.; grandchildren, Garrett (Lyndsey) Smick, Madaleyna (Bryce Smith) Hood, Kaylee (Landen) Ludolph, Carter Lane and Macayla Hood; great grandchildren, Easton Smith and Macklin Ludolph; 2 sisters, Dianne Hood Kornbrust and Tonya (Rick) Hess; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert J. Hood and Loise Hood; 2 brothers, Steven H. Hood and Jerry N. Hood; mother of his children, Debbie Braasch.
