Funeral service for Daniel Skelton, 78, will be Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Andrew Skelton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Skelton passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born January 27, 1947, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to William Howard Skelton, Sr. and Kato Arwin Frasier Skelton.
Mr. Skelton was a United States Marine Corp Veteran with 23 years of service. He retired at the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. He was employed by Raytheon working in Electronics and Missile Defense programming, for 15 years, prior to his retirement. He was a wonderful husband, father and brother. He grew up in Maury County, Tennessee, and graduated in 1965, from Hampshire High School in Hampshire, Tennessee. He then retired to his homes in Pagadian, Philipians and in Hartselle, Alabama. He was a long standing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a son- Eric Skelton, and his youngest brother- Jerry Mark Skelton.

Marc Skelton,
Daughter – April Skelton-Sedun,
Brothers – W.H. “Hal” Skelton, Jr. and
James Andrew Skelton, Sr.,
Four Step-children – Phoebe, Mary Ann, Danilo, and Donald.
Eight Grandchildren,
Four Great Grandchildren,
two nephews and two nieces.
