Daniel Jackson “Jackie” Foster, Jr., age 78, of Summertown, TN passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired Veteran Service Officer, a member of American Post 63, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason, Shriner, VFW Post 1618, State Commander for VFW, and Summertown Baptist Church. Mr. Foster retired from the U.S. Air Force where he served his country honorably during the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Jackson Foster, Sr. and Ophelia Hensen Foster; and one son, Daniel Jackson “Jack” Foster, III.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015, with Howard Kitter officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Garden Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.
