LTC (Ret.) Dallas W. Clark, 80, passed away at his home on April 29, after an extended illness. He was devoted to his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Alice. He is survived by his sons, Dallas Wade II and David Andrew of Huntsville, their spouses, Emily and Sally, grandchildren, Dylan, Annie, Carey, Katie and Caroline and special friends, Chris and Elena Myers and their children, Christopher and Rebecca.
Mr. Clark graduated in 1953 from North Georgia College with a chemistry degree. He retired a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army after 26 years of active duty including tours in Korea and Vietnam. He was active in the Huntsville Optimist Club.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Larry Billiter officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation at Clearview Cancer Institute, Huntsville, AL.
