Dale Vinson CarrollDale Vinson Carroll, age 67, of Albertville, passed away on January 10, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born on August 24, 1956, to the late Voyless and Estelle Carroll. Dale’s life was marked by dedicated service, both in his professional career and his commitment to community.
Dale was a proud member of the Free Masons, embodying the principles of brotherhood, charity, and personal development. With a strong work ethic and a passion for his industry, he dedicated over 30 years of his life to the poultry business, ultimately retiring as the Vice President of AlaTrade Foods.
Not one to rest idle, Dale transitioned to a second career with the City of Albertville, serving as the Director of Senior Services. His dedication to enhancing the lives of seniors in the community was evident in his tireless efforts. After over two decades of service, he retired for the second time in September of 2023, leaving a lasting impact on those he served.
Dale is survived by his loving children: Ashely Potts (Jody), Blake Carroll, Louann Littlejohn (Kenneth), and Sean Kimberly. His legacy also lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Katlyn, Maddie, Brandon, Leanna, Haley, David, John, Cole, Caden, Katie, and Aniston, as well as his great-grandchildren: Ellie Rae, Corbin, Anniston, Conner, and Brantley. He is fondly remembered by his siblings Polly, Lee, and Gail.
In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his loving wife, Priscilla Carroll; siblings, Vernon, and Kris.
A funeral service to celebrate Dale’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service, starting at 9:30 am at the Funeral Home. Assisting Mr. Carroll to his final resting place at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery will be friends and family including Jody Potts, Brandon Jenkins, Patrick Grissom, Jeff Hubbard, Jason Rogers, and Taylor Kilcoyne.
Dale Vinson Carroll will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to family and community. His legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
