Funeral service for D.C. Moore, 87, will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Fanning officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore died on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born December 11, 1929, in Kentucky to Wendall W. Moore and Ewa Esteen Richard Moore. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War, a life member of he VFW Post 4190 in Decatur, and a Golden Eagle from the River City Eagles Arie 4185 in Decatur. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and a huge St. Louis Cardinal’s fan. He loved to Bar-B-Que and Dance and just have a good time. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Hugh and Cary Moore.
