FLORENCE-Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts welcomes Huntsville artist Monica Yother as she hosts Cultivate Your Creativity: An Art Journal Retreat from April 4th through April 6th in the Southall House.
How do you stay creatively motivated? How do you keep from feeling stale or stuck? This retreat is designed to help you find ways to continue to grow as a creative person. You’ll learn tried and true practices… and more importantly, how to modify them to work for you. This is not just theory or lectures; it’s a hands-on working retreat! When you leave, you’ll have a plan and resources to keep you thriving.
Monica Yother, your guide for the retreat, is an artist and graphic designer who has worked as a full time creative for 37 years. She has led team building events for businesses as well as taught a variety of art classes in her studio in Huntsville.
