Laceys Spring Man Arrest On Domestic Violence 2nd Degree – Strangulation

HARTSELLE-On March 9, 2025 a resident walking near Perkins Wood Rd outside of Hartselle, encountered a female subject that appeared to be in distress. Deputies and EMS responded to the scene and learned that the female subject had been beaten and strangled until she lost consciousness by an individual she knew.
Investigators arrived on scene and attempted to locate the suspect, who was identified as Braden Xavier Bermingham, 24 of Laceys Spring.
The subject was not located, and investigators obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On March 10, 2025, Deputies with the Sheriff Office Fugitive Unit located and arrested Bermingham.
Bermingham is charged with Domestic Violence 2nd Degree – Strangulation. Bond $5,000.00
He was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
