Crystal Ballenger
CULLMAN-Crystal Ballenger and her boyfriend,
have been indicted on charges in the death of Ballenger’s 1-year-old child.
Charges of Sexual Torture, Capital Murder of a Child and Capital Murder During Sexual Abuse have been levied against the two suspects. The original charge against Ballenger was Aggravated Child Abuse.
The charges have been updated against both suspects after the autopsy of
Jeffrey Hugh Brown
the child was released in August of this year showing the child suffered 89 injuries.
Both suspects are being held without bond in the Cullman County Detention Center.
