Crystal Pearly May Powell, 22, passed away December 22. Survivors include her parents, Charles and Sheila Powell; brother, Allen Marks; and sister, Kimberly Marks. Also surviving is her niece, Lashanda Haygood, who was raised with Crystal, and was a like a sister to her.
Crystal had Cerebral Palsy and had many struggles and fought through many difficulties throughout the early part of her life. She knew how to love and be loved. She was a sweet little girl trapped in a body that didn’t work for her. A private family service will be held.
