Funeral service for Chris Simmons, 38, will be Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anthony Simmons officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery . Visitation will be Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Simmons died on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 5, 1978, in Morgan County to Mailon Travis Simmons and Teresa Marie Bullard Simmons. He was a member of Morgan County Rescue Squad and was a Volunteer Fire Fighter at Punkin Center. Chris was a member of Family Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Bullard Simmons.
