It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Lee Percy, who left this world on August 10, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on August 2, 1958, in Ankara, Turkey, Craig was the beloved son of the late Victor Lanore Percy Jr. and Jean Henderson Lester. He was also cherished by his stepmother, the late Juanita Percy, and his late brother, Victor L. Percy III.
Craig was a man blessed with a profound love for life and those he shared it with. He found joy in the simple pleasures of the world, such as traveling to new places, immersing himself in the great outdoors, and losing himself in the melodies of music. His adventurous spirit and appreciation for life’s beauty will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Craig was surrounded by a loving family. He is survived by his devoted long-time companion, Cindy Skinner, who stood by his side through life’s many chapters. Craig’s legacy of love and warmth continues through his children: Brooke Percy, Tiffany Percy Pruitt, Debra Frederick and her husband Joey, Cody Percy, Stormie Percy and her husband Anthony, and Ashley Border and her husband Adam. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to Austin Elkins, Hope Roper, Gabe Pruitt, Savannah Donaldson, Logan Roper, Haleigh Pruitt, Caroline Border, Sophia Flores, and Andy and Delilah Frederick.
As we say goodbye to Craig, we remember his laughter, his kindness, and the way he touched each of our lives with his warmth and love. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us and inspiring us to live life to the fullest, just as he did.
