Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mrs. Corrine Stewart Sanders, age 92 of Decherd. Mrs. Sanders passed from this life on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Elk River Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Winchester. She was born on April 4th, 1927 in Sherwood, Tennessee to the late B.W. Stewart and Annie Mae McBee. She was a domestic homemaker and loved talking to everyone. Mrs. Sanders was a faithful prayer warrior and was always praying. In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her sons, Paul Steele and Jerry Sanders; sisters, Ona Belle Jernigan, Jean Ray and Katherine Campbell; brothers, Carlton Stewart, Bobby Stewart and Hobert Stewart. She is survived by her two sons, Joe Sanders and Terry (Pam) Sanders all of Decherd; daughter, Rose (Bob) Pickett of Taft, TN; three sisters, Annie Pearl Owens of Winchester, Nancy Ellis of Cowan, and Betty Partin of Decherd; 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home on Monday, December 9, 2019 between the hours of 11:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3:00p.m. with Pastor John Partin, Jr. officiating in the Roy B.
