Colombia Maria Smith, age 100, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2024.Mrs. Smith was born on February 12, 1924, in Columbia, South America, to Heraclio and Adela Rojas. She moved to Panama when she was just six years old (where she grew up), and moved to the United States in 1952. Being a military wife for twenty-four years, she spent most of her life living all over the world; in several states, and different places overseas.
She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth LeMonds and Madeline Adams; two brothers and four sisters; six grandchildren: Charles William Danbury, Sara Elizabeth Harris, Joseph Smith, Douglas Smith, Amanda Cox and Eally Smith; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Eally Smith, Jr.; her parents; son, Eally Smith, III; and seven brothers and sisters.
No public services are planned at this time.
