Cody Lee Lewis, 37, passed away Wednesday morning, June 18, 2019 in DeSoto County MS. Visitation will be at Noon -1pm at First Baptist Church of Okolona MS on Saturday, June 22, 2019.Bro. Mark Hoover, brother-in-law will officiate. A Memorial & Reflection Service will be at 1pm also on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at First Baptist Church Okolona MS. A private interment for the family will be later after services.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Atlas Lewis Jr., his grandparents Tommy and Audrey Corley Inmon & Frank Atlas Lewis Sr. and Lula Geneva Lewis his aunt Lane Davis, and his uncle Morton Lewis.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Janice Lewis of Okolona MS, his sister Tracy Lewis Hoover (Mark) of Hayti, MO, and his aunts; Judy Posey (Tim), Ginger Bean (Eddie), Lynn Gaskin (Terry), and many beloved cousins and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for “acts of kindness to others”, as Cody always helped others. Holland Funeral Directors, Okolona Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
